Hokay-

So, as is obvious, I've uploaded my winter pics from this season. Some of my favorits are "Frosted Junior Asparagus" and "Red Berry," the latter of which is my current laptop desktop. I encourage everyone to browse to their heart's content, there are some 95 or so shots to look at.

I'm really thrilled to see that I'm nearing 4000 views! I've been a deviant for almost 4 years now, and up until I went to college I was pretty constantly getting fewer than a pageview or two a day. I see it as a mark of my growth as a photographer, which I hope to continue doing.

I have been taking many different kinds of random shots this summer (And knowing me they won't be up here until sometime in November) that I am really thrilled with. I've been trying my hand more and more with macro shots, I've got some great spider/spiderweb shots I can't wait to get up here.

I've been debating on whether or not to upload a series of shots I have. I've been trying my hand with make-up more and more recently, to find that I'm actually quite good at it. I have a narcisistic series of shots that are mostly make-up (or hair) focusing shots that I don't know if I want to upload them as regular devations or as scraps yet. I may go with scraps if for no other reason than I do have more than 1500 devations and should probably fluff out my scraps. I will do that actually, when I have time to sit and go through my older deviations and decide which ones I feel are even relevant anymore or not.

I will be working on getting my photos from my family overnight trip to carlsebad caverns from spring break sorted, named, and uploaded over the next week or so. I didn't bring (and don't think I own) a tripod, so many of these are 'almost' pictures, that had I the capacity to stand that much stiller would be fantastic. These will for sure end up in scraps if here at all. I did, though, manage to take some pretty amazing shots in the dark (hahaha) without a tripod so expect to see 4 or 5 of those for sure.
